What is your personal computer or workstation used for business or private? I use DELL workstation for CAD operation. The workstation suddenly stopped working. DELL workstation malfunction.

When I press the power button, it lights white, then flashes amber (orange), and the workstation does not start. Something like an error code appears or disappears on the monitor.

When I told them my “symptoms” and “what I did” by phone, the memory seemed to be in poor condition and I was dispatched a replacement memory and workers.

On-site support on the day.

The maintenance and support service I had was “Professional Support”. If you subscribe to this, you can get support on the day. I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t know that this trouble occurred.

It was noon when I called DELL support this time, but the operator said that support is available on the day. I asked for the day because it would be a problem if the workstation did not move. At 16:15 a DELL engineer worked onsite and the workstation was restored to good condition.

There are similar maintenance services other than workstations.

For DELL workstations, “Pro Support” is on-site support on the day. For other PCs, for example, a laptop would be equivalent to “3 years Premium Support: Onsite Service”.
