Go to Tokyo Station to enjoy DENKOSEKKA(lightning fire) okonomiyaki

Do you like Okonomiyaki? At home, I often do extra cabbage to consume it. Recently, I’ve been into making okonomiyaki in Hiroshima, and when I researched various ways to make it, I learned that the DENKOSEKKA(lightning fire) that I wrote in another article [Adult’s school trip, second edition, Hiroshima] is at Tokyo Station I went to eat and for reference of how to make. It looks pretty and is very delicious, so if you come to Tokyo Station, please try it.

Okonomiyaki “DENKOSEKKA(Lightning Fire)”

DENKOSEKKA(Lightning fire) is a local store with four stores in Hiroshima and one in Ehime, but since 2017 it has been opened at Tokyo Station. And it was the first okonomiyaki restaurant to win the Bib Gourmand, which was featured in this special lightning fire, Michelin guide Hiroshima 2013 Special Edition. I am convinced that it was delicious when I ate it in Hiroshima.

The location of the DENKOSEKKA(Lightning Fire) Tokyo store is on the “Nippon Gourmet Road” in the underground shopping area on the Yaesu side of Tokyo Station. The store information is as follows.

The order is a food ticket system with a ticket vending machine installed at the entrance of the shop. Don’t hesitate as some recommended menus are arranged with large buttons. Below that, there are normal size buttons such as meat balls and basic toppings. A simple meat ball costs 880 yen. The recommended menu costs a little over 1,200 to 1,300 yen, but it’s delicious so I can forgive it.

I was disturbed about 10:30 this time, but at this time, it took me about 10 minutes to sit down and order without waiting. The number of customers increased after 11:00 after the meal, so if you don’t like waiting in line, I recommend you to go early.

The DENKOSEKKA(lightning fire) okonomiyaki is sphere!

The feature of okonomiyaki  is its appearance. It’s wrapped in eggs like omelet rice and is very cute.

This time, I ordered a simple “meat ball” (front of the photo) and “plenty of cheese” (back of the photo) that was delicious in Hiroshima. You can choose either udon or soba for the noodles inside. This time, I made both soba noodles. Next time, I’ll try one of the udon noodles.

Cheese is a double egg so okonomiyaki is nicely wrapped in eggs.
Egg double is recommended if the appearance is important.

Both tastes are cabbage, and I think that’s what I’m particular about here, the squid tempura in the place of the tempura is very delicious. If you have a lot of cheese, there is plenty of cheese just below the egg and the harmony of cheese and sauce is very good.

I enjoyed okonomiyaki, which looked very cute and tasted delicious in Hiroshima, so I went to Denkishibi Tokyo Station store to research how to make it. You can see the flickering of the place you are making, and the image training when you make it yourself is perfect. Please try it when you go out to Tokyo station.
