I go to Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture several times a year. There are some famous foods in Iwate prefecture and Morioka city, but today I’m talking about “jajamen”.
I recommend the restaurant that Morioka resident told me because it is very delicious.
Whenever I go to Morioka, I always go to eat jaja noodles and Chinese buckwheat noodles.

Jaja noodles
“Morioka Jajamen” is a noodle dish that plays a part in the three major Morioka noodles.
By the way, the other two of the three major noodles are “Morioka cold noodles” and “bowl soba”.
Eat noodles that are similar to udon noodles with meat miso, cucumber, green onion, ginger, chili oil, etc., and mix with the noodles. After eating the noodles in moderation, break the raw egg into the bowl and enjoy the soup “Chitan” which is boiled and stirred.

The shredded noodle that I recommend is “My jaja“.
It is inconvenient for travelers from outside the prefecture without a car.
The feature here is the “chitan” that you get in the latter half of the jaja noodles.
Chitan here is soup stock. This is very delicious!
Of course, jaja noodles are also delicious.
I always sprinkle with chili oil and add a little garlic.

I want to enjoy noodles as well, so I order chitan after eating about half of the noodles.
