It is important to be “pet-friendly” because you will be traveling with two pet chihuahuas, but there are many places where pets are prohibited at campsites in Okutama. The Kanoto-en Campground is on the way to Kanoto-rock in Okutama.
You can do “Day Camp”, “Auto Camp”, “Bungalow Night” and “BBQ”.
There is a fishing pond on the premises, and the fish you catch will be cooked on the spot.

Recommended along the stream at Kanoto-en Campground
The Kanoto-en Camp campground has two auto camp sections. One is the mountain area where there is a reception and the brookside area which is a little further ahead.
If you want to camp here, I definitely recommend the riverside area.
ince there are only 4 sections for auto camp, you can basically stay quiet. When I used it, there was only one group other than my home, and I had a very calm camp.
Of course, there is also a clean washing area in the area along the stream. The toilet is a simple type, but it is kept very clean and does not get dirty.
If the season is good, you can see fireflies flying over the stream, and you can see the beautiful starry sky on a clear night.
Of course, the mountain area is also good.
The mountain area is a large area like a parking lot. You can use a lot of space widely, so you can create a site layout with plenty of room. The toilet will be a flush toilet and a shower will be near, so I think it is better for those who prioritize these conditions.
The trout is delicious
You can enjoy the fishing pond for 200 yen with a fishing rod and 250 yen for each trout. The fish you caught should be grilled with salt for 170 yen each. When we come here, we will procure our first snacks at this fishing pond after setting up our tent. Some big trout are swimming, so let’s aim for a big one.
