My hometown is Kagoshima prefecture. To my friends who had never been to Kagoshima, I planned a Kagoshima trip as an adult school excursion to appeal to Kagoshima, and I enjoyed it very much. Tourist route
Day 1: Haneda Airport → Kagoshima Airport. Rent a car to Ibusuki. Ibusuki overnight
Day 2: Ibusuki → Makurazaki → Chiran → Kagoshima city
Day 3: Kagoshima City Tour → Kagoshima Airport → Haneda Airport

Ibusuki

From Haneda, get off at Kagoshima Airport and head to Ibusuki with a rental car.
Speaking of Ibusuki? Of course sand steamed hot springs. I am from Kagoshima, but I have never been to this trip, so this is my first experience. I went here.
Sand Steaming Hall
After reception at the lobby on the 2nd floor, change into a yukata and bring a towel to the beach.
I was laid down in a designated place and I was covered with sand with my hands
It will be buried in no time.
Immediately after being sanded, it warms up and is warm.
After about 15 minutes of filling and warm enough, remove the sand and refresh in a hot spring.
I was able to refresh my slightly tired body by traveling by air and by road.

I searched variously for cheap accommodation, and stayed here at the cottage.
In the countryside
I was worried because I chose it because it was cheap, but it was a very good facility. In the countryside, the surroundings are full of nature, so insects will come out, but I think that it is okay if you choose the season.
We went in the fall, but we didn’t have to worry about the bugs.
A hot spring building is available and can be reserved for private use.
The temperature of the hot water is lukewarm, so it may be cold in winter.
There are various downsides in online reviews, but it was a very nice inn for us. Members who have traveled want to go again! ! I will talk about it.

Makurazaki

Makurazaki, we went to eat lunch on the way from Ibusuki to Chiran.
Makurazaki is a bonito! is. Go here for delicious bonito food.
Makurazaki Fish Center
There is a souvenir shop on the 1st floor and a restaurant on the 2nd floor.
Go to the restaurant while watching the cylindrical aquarium on the stairs.
Here, it’s a Kagoshima-like dish, so I’ll have slap and belly skin here.
Sink is the head of Kagoshima dialect. As its name suggests, it is a bonito with its head baked. The impact is great!
The abdominal skin is the part of the body of the belly, the part of the tuna called tuna. I remember that the rest of the body after removing the bonito flakes was a popular part in Kagoshima and was used for lunch as a child. Please enjoy it as it is soft and fatty and very delicious.
Various souvenirs are sold on the 1st floor. The recommendation is bonito flakes. Among them, is it a book withered? Will bonito flakes become so hard! I’m surprised.

Chiran

Well, after getting hungry in Makurazaki, we will head to the number one destination of this trip, which is called an adult’s school trip. The concept of our adult school trip is “learn about war”.

Here, in the World War II, the relics of the members who dispatched to the special attack and related materials are displayed with the cooperation of the bereaved families. When I wonder how I wrote this before the sortie, I feel like I can’t finish it. I cannot help but thank them for being able to live in this era of today. It’s not like many people talk about what they think when they see this exhibition, so we decided a free time by deciding the meeting time. The faces of everyone at the time of the gathering were a little more mature than they were before we saw the exhibition.

Kagoshima city

After studying at Chiran, head to Kagoshima city. Accommodation is an ordinary hotel. Dinner is also an ordinary izakaya. However, I can’t give up the tightened ramen. In Kagoshima, I went to a ramen shop that can be said to be the most delicious in Japan.

By the time I went there, I had told my friends that I was the best and had raised too many hurdles. Fried rice is also delicious, so if you can eat a lot, try it as a set. By the way, it is also a souvenir at the airport. This souvenir ramen is also delicious. At Kagoshima Airport, be sure to buy it for your family.
